Which card terminals work with CobroYa?
Those compatible with Redsys TPV-PC provided by your bank, with the TPV-PC Implantado software. Ask your bank whether your model works in TPV-PC mode. More information in Redsys TPV-PC with Odoo.
Which Odoo versions does it work with?
Odoo 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20, Community or Enterprise, on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own server. There is a module for each version, installed from Odoo's own screens.
Does it work with Odoo Online?
Yes. Odoo Online (the standard Odoo at odoo.com) does not allow modules with Python code, so there you install the “Import Module” edition, which has no Python: upload it from Apps › Import Module, without touching the server. The addons edition does not work on Odoo Online.
Do I need an IoT Box?
No. CobroYa runs on the till PC, with no extra hardware. Read card terminal in Odoo without an IoT Box.
How is the module installed in Odoo?
From Odoo's own screens: enable developer mode, go to Apps › Import Module and upload the file you download from your customer area, without unzipping it. If you prefer, there is also an edition to copy into the server's addons (on Odoo.sh, into your repository). Step by step in the installation guide.
Can I try it without a card terminal?
Yes. CobroYa includes a simulator to test payments from Odoo before you have the card terminal. It does not charge for real and works without a license.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The card terminal charges over its own connection and CobroYa keeps working for up to 3 days without renewing the license. Odoo may need the internet, depending on how it is installed.
And if a payment is cut off halfway?
CobroYa asks the bank what happened before letting you charge again, so nobody is charged twice.
Can I make refunds?
Yes, from the order in the Odoo POS and on the same card. Orders paid with CobroYa can be refunded with CobroYa.
Does CobroYa see card details?
No. The card terminal talks directly to the bank. CobroYa only receives the result of the payment and the last digits of the card for the receipt.
How much does it cost?
€14.90 per month per PC, VAT included. See pricing.
Do I need a license for each till?
Yes, one license for each PC that takes payments. If you change PCs, deactivate the old one from your customer area and activate the new one with the same key.
What do I have to ask my bank for?
