The IoT Box and CobroYa
The Odoo IoT Box is a device that connects printers, scales and some payment terminals to the Point of Sale. The terminals Odoo integrates do not include the Redsys TPV-PC card terminals of Spanish banks. CobroYa connects them with no extra hardware.
What you need with CobroYa
- Extra hardware: none. The till PC, with Windows 10 or 11.
- Card terminal: your bank's Redsys TPV-PC.
- Odoo: 16, 17, 18, 19 or 20, on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own server.
- Price: €14.90 per month per PC (VAT included).
How is that possible?
The Odoo POS talks to CobroYa from the browser on the till PC itself, at a local address. You do not need to open ports in the shop or let the Odoo server reach it.
And it is secure: CobroYa only accepts payments coming from your Odoo address, which you allow with one click the first time you open the POS, so another page open on the same PC cannot charge.
