For the Odoo Point of Sale to send the amount to the card terminal, your bank has to give you the card terminal in Redsys TPV-PC mode and the software that makes it possible. This is the list of what to ask for, so you do not have to call again.
1. Does my card terminal work in TPV-PC mode?
Not every model supports it. Ask about your specific model and, if it does not support it, ask for one that does.
2. TPV-PC Implantado
It is the bank's software, installed on the till PC, that connects the PC to the card terminal. Without it you cannot charge from the PC. Some CobroYa installers already include it, but your bank still has to register you.
3. First, the test version
Ask for a test merchant and test card terminal. That way you can check that everything works from Odoo without moving real money. Meanwhile, you can also use the CobroYa simulator.
4. Then, the production version
To take real payments you need the production version and your real merchant details.
5. The merchant details
- Merchant number.
- Terminal number.
- Merchant key.
You enter them only once, when installing CobroYa. Keep them somewhere safe.
