Until now, if your Odoo was Odoo Online (the standard Odoo at odoo.com), you could not use CobroYa: Odoo Online does not allow modules with Python code. That is over. CobroYa now works on Odoo Online.
What changes
CobroYa has an edition of the module without Python, made for Import Module. You upload it to your Odoo Online from Apps › Import Module, without touching any server and without asking anyone for help.
It takes payments exactly like the edition for addons: the amount goes to the card terminal on its own, the customer pays and, if the bank approves the payment, Odoo validates the order by itself. Refunds work the same way.
Tested on Odoo Online
We have tested it on an Odoo Online 20: payment, refund and automatic validation of the order, from start to finish. The module is available for Odoo 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20.
How to start
- Sign up for CobroYa and download the module for your Odoo version from your customer area (button Download (Import Module)).
- In Odoo, enable developer mode, go to Apps › Import Module and upload the .zip as it is, without unzipping it.
- Create a bank payment method in the Point of Sale with “CobroYa” in its name, such as “Card (CobroYa)”.
- Install CobroYa on the till PC with the license key we email you.
- Open the POS and press Allow on the CobroYa notice. Done: you can take payments.

Still on Odoo.sh or your own server?
Nothing changes for you: you can keep the edition for addons or switch to Import Module, whichever suits you best.
